Description
My obsession with books led me to create these bookends as an "entryway" to a personal library, a concept inspired by the chapter on doors in Rem Koolhaas’ Elements of Architecture. The design itself is a nod to Jean Prouvé’s iconic porthole doors, which I’ve always admired for their unique industrial character. I love the idea that just as in a doorway, the portholes allow you only a glimpse of what lies on the other side as a small preview of the stories waiting on the shelf.
